About AMT We began our service in 1986 in Houston, Texas, owned and operated by Cora Scott, a Certified Medical Transcriptionist, certified by the American Association for Medical Transcription and a charter member of the Association. In the year 2000, we extended our service to the Las Vegas area and have enlarged our clientele substantially since then. We have extensive disciplines in pathology and oncology, and our work is quality controlled by certified medical transcriptionists. Our clientele ranges from small hospitals, nursing home facilities, surgery centers, to private physicians.
